"Leading Through Change provided me with several eye opening practices and skills that will impact my work and life. Sharon leads through example and empowered the group to do the same. Her enthusiasm was also truly contagious. It was a wonderful experience and I will continue to practice these powerful learnings. I watched as every person in the leadership group absorbed the points that were being made not only by Sharon, but by the peers around them..."

Sharon Bar-David ~ Partnering for the "Perfect Fit"
Creating work environments that boost engagement and stimulate productivity
With 20+ years of international experience as a lawyer, trainer, speaker, consultant and family therapist, Sharon Bar-David has helped over 20,000 people in Canada and overseas build positive work environments that boost engagement and stimulate productivity.
Her clients describe her keynote speeches, training sessions and coaching as gripping, edgy, and playful, with results that alter the way that people think about and perform their jobs.
Sharon’s unique path has helped position her as an accomplished expert on the human experience in the workplace: she launched her career as a courtroom lawyer, specializing in personal injuries litigation. After several years of practicing law and grasping the adversarial aspects of human relationships, Sharon realized that she was not fulfilling her true calling. She immigrated to Canada to pursue a Masters of Social Work and a post-graduate fellowship in Family Systems Therapy. Before long, she was invited to train other health professionals in Canada, the United States and overseas in leading edge approaches to change. She gained a reputation for the fundamental way that her workshops altered people’s way of doing their work and she was sought after for the motivational, vibrant quality of her sessions.
Armed with the insights gained from her law career, her knowledge as a therapist, the speaking experience and the expertise in bringing about change, Sharon’s focus over time shifted to the world of work and the challenges it poses for those who inhabit it. As the manager of a network of wellness trainers across Canada she gained an even deeper understanding of the issues facing managers and employees in the many industries she worked with, including the professional services industry, government, manufacturing, retail, social service, technology and health industries.
Over time, Sharon developed the Get R.E.A.L™ program, which focuses on four key spheres that improve engagement and productivity: Respect, Energy, Agility and Leadership. Her tips-packed blog have become a destination for readers wishing to create positive work environments for themselves and others.
Sharon’s expertise in organizational change is featured in the book she co-authored, Awakening the Workplace. She is also the recipient of the gold medal award in the New York Festivals for a short radio documentary she created for CBC Radio. Currently a member of the International Federation of Professional Speakers and CAPS (Canadian Association of Professional Speakers), Sharon is also a past CAPS Toronto Board member.
Sharon’s is consistently at work to fulfil her personal mission: making this world a better place, one group at a time!
