Diane Kubal is an entrepreneur and founder of an independent consultant referral network specializing in training, organization development, human resources and management consulting. Diane has more than twenty-five years of business experience in management as well as internal and
external consulting roles.
As a “talent broker” Diane is frequently requested to speak on marketing and entrepreneurship topics. She has been a guest speaker as part of the curriculum for Loyola University, DePaul University, and the University of Chicago. She has spoken at The Women’s Business Network, National Association of Women Business Owners, Chicago OD Network, American Society for Training and Development, International Society for Performance and Instruction, Association for Multimedia Communications, Chicago Organization Development Institute Chapter, St. Pats Career Center, Drake Beam Morin and numerous other job search groups.
Currently, Diane is writing a book entitled: Talent Circles: Discover What You Do Best and Why. She is the creator of “Inner Circles”, a model that identifies a person’s natural talents. She is now applying the concepts of this assessment tool to Career Development, Performance Improvement and Talent Assessment. She is the developer of the InCite workshop, an experience designed to illuminate one’s natural talents.
Diane is a featured expert for the “The Career Elevator,” a web based product designed for graduating college students who are entering the workforce. She was featured in an article on the RealityRN.com web site in September, 2007 that focuses on nursing job options for women’s various life situations. She has been a guest speaker on Job Talk radio and Voice for America’s Youth.
Kubal has been interviewed for articles on small business that have appeared in Crain’s Chicago Business and The Chicago Tribune. She has authored several articles that have been published in Training Today, Workforce.com, Strategic HR Review, Performance Improvement and Industrial Maintenance and Plant Operations Journals. Her organization was one of the first companies to be awarded a Board of Directors through the Athena Foundation, which is a group that helps grow women-owned businesses to the next level.
Her natural abilities of building relationships and networking have driven the development of a firm that identifies company needs and fills them with top consulting talent. Her extensive knowledge of the Human Resources, Training and Organization Development field and market give her a sharp eye to scrutinize and engage exceptional talent, innovative products and services.
As an independent consultant since 1994, Diane has delivered services to clients in areas such as management and supervisory skills training, 360 feedback, team building, customer service, strategy rollout, quality improvement, change management, group facilitation, needs assessment, leadership development, stress management, and project management.
For the earlier 15 years of her career, Diane held a variety of roles in industry. She was National Customer Service Manager for Montgomery Ward, Customer Service Training Specialist for Budget Rent-A-Car, and Sr. Training Specialist and Quality Consultant for Cincinnati Bell Information Systems. At Montgomery Ward she had several managerial positions of increasing responsibility, both in corporate and in field assignments.
Diane has served her professional community on the Board of Directors of the Organization Development Network of Chicago as Job Bank Director. Also, her company is a founding patron of the yearly OD Impact Awards, where she has been a speaker and Master of Ceremonies since its inception from 2003 through 2008.
She earned her Master of Science (MS) degree in Organization Development from Loyola University and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Behavioral Science from National College of Education, now National Louis University.
